Value Aspect of the Organizational İnstitutionalization: Institutionalization of the Work Ethics

ÖZET
Bütün birey ve kurumların amacı, yer alacakları faaliyetler ve yerine getireceği roller aracılığıyla “hayatı zenginleştirmektir” veya öyle olmalıdır. Bunu yapmanın yolu ise ahlaki ilke ve değerlerin inşasından geçmektedir. Özellikle günümüzün çalkantılı dünyasında hayatın her an en doğru kararı ve en uygun eylemi talep ettiğini dikkate alarak, hayatın akışını ahlaki bir zemin üzerine oturtmak gerekmektedir. Çalışma hayatına hakim olmuş hudutsuz kazanma, huzursuz yaşama ikilemini “iyi iş + iyi ahlak + iyi yaşam” denkliğine dönüştürmeyi sağlayacak bir girişim gerekmektedir. Bu girişim, zaman ve kültür farklılıklarını aşacak şekilde ahlaki ilke ve değerleri “ortak kod” kabul edecek bir kurumsallaşmayı temsil etmektedir. Çalışma, bu anlayış içerisinde iş ahlakının kurumsallaşmasından ne anlaşıldığını, iş ahlakının kurumsallaşmasında tarafların rolleri üzerinde duracak ve uygulama sonuçlarını tartışacaktır.

ABSTRACT
The purpose of all individuals and institutions is to enrich life through the activities that they undertake and the roles which they perform, or at least it should be so. The way to achieve this entails creating ethical principle and values. Regarding the current situation of the world and considering that life demands the best and most correct decision and the most suitable activity, it is needed to place the course of life in an ethical base. An attempt is required to change the paradox of unlimited gain, unrestricted life into the equation of good job + good ethic = good life. This attempt represents an institutionalization which accepts ethical principle and values as common code going beyond the differences of time and culture. Within this concept, this study focuses on what is understood by institutionalization and the roles of parties in institutionalization of business ethic. Then findings of the field study are discussed.
